Description
Two biographical sports films. The Joe Louis story is the story of a boy who traded his violin for a pair of boxing gloves and went on to become the world's heavyweight champion. Includes original fight footage. The Lou Gehrig story is the story of the great baseball player chiefly remembered for his prowess as a hitter, his consecutive games-played record and its subsequent longevity, and the pathos of his farewell from baseball at age 36, when he was stricken with a fatal neurological disease.
