Description
¿verdad?"--Page 4 of cover.
Description
When Daphne agrees to marry Peter and move back to his hometown, the last thing she imagines is that he'd leave her for his childhood best friend, Petra. Daphne begins her newly-single life in Waning, Michigan, away from her family and friends, barely making ends meet with a new job as a children's librarian. So she considers sharing an apartment with the only person who might understand how she feels: Miles Nowak, Petra's ex-boyfriend. Miles is the complete opposite of Daphne, and the two mostly avoid each other, until one day while drowning their sorrows the form a fragile friendship and hatch a plan. It's only for attention, of course, because Daphne would never start a new chapter of her life by falling for the ex-boyfriend of her ex's new girlfriend... right?
