Description
A nightingale whose song delights a young princess is banished from the palace by her father, the emperor, whose deafness prevents him from hearing the nightingale's song. A physician says he can cure the emperor's deafness but needs the heart of a nightingale. The nightingale agrees to let them have his heart, but the emperor refuses, realizing the nightingale would make others happy with it's song.
